This is another popular knife used by the Gurkhas in the jungle. The knife derives its name from "Siru"(One kind of grass) which is a slender and narrow type of a leaf and is it very sharp. Hence it is called Sirupate Khukuri. Its looks like exactly the same one which is "SIRU". Its blade is straighter than and not as wide as other knives. The sheath is made of Buffalo hide while the handle is Indian rose wood. It has 10" long blade and 5" long handle. It weighs 600 grams.
